I'm not feeling very creative today so I decided to just comment on the WSU loss by using last year's quotes from shocker fans after other MVC teams lost early on in non-conference games.

Well, well, well. We won't have to suffer with a thread about the Shocks chances for an undeafeted season this year.

Shockers play one of their worst halves in recent memory but lead Tulsa 31-30 after 3 straight 3s by Van Vleet wow that place got quiet quick

Looks like they outdid themselves in the second half.

Because all those apply to a road loss to a senior loaded team that will be a Top 25-50 RPI team by the end of the year.

Shockers will be fine, let's get the rest of the valley to the "disappointment level" of the shockers

The inexperience of WSU's bench was exposed. the Fr and So's were bad. Shamet showed some stuff, but fouled out.

I think the Fr and So's will be fine against Valley competition. They'll have a bunch of games under their belts, and they won't be facing nothing but Sr's through the entire game. Tulsa has 9 Sr's.

Wessel had an odd game. 3 points, 1 board, but led the Shox with 4 A's. It was pretty much Baker, VanVleet, Grady, and 2 guys.
