Good Luck With Your Bracketbusters

It's that time of year. We set aside the grind of the valley season for one weekend and root for each other to dominate the bracketbusters and it starts with UNI tonight.

A valley sweep would likely get our conference RPI past the A-10.

Good luck.

Good luck to all.

As for UNI, I don't think we'll help much. I'm hoping for a fair showing, but I can easily see us falling behind big early and rallying back some in the second to at least make it respectable. Just don't see the W coming after the last second loss on Wednesday and short turnaround.

A KU fan has expressed his opinion in the comments in the local paper that Davidson is by far the best team WSU will have faced this year, so I guess WSU is going to need all that luck. Needing some breaks is normal in a road game against any team that's even decent.

I'll consider no injuries enough luck. A win won't help the Shox with seeding or national recognition or ranking. The Shox will be expected to win the game. A loss will drop the Shox probably 2 or 3 seeding spots, which could end up with a nasty early matchup.

Gee, thanks all around to Doug Elgin for committing us to this "can't go anywhere but down" TV gimmick and to ESPN for assuring that WSU can't possibly gain anything but money for ESPN.

Imagine that from a KU fan. I'm sure WSU will be exposed against the KU slayer this weekend. I am certain a team that is 17-2 (or thereabouts) in true road games, will be overwhelmed on the east coast.

I'm still praying the Shocks get into the dance. Nothing is taken for granted from this fan.

On my way to vegas for the weekend. My heart is telling me to bet a 9-team parlay on the MVC tomorrow, assuming all the games are on the board. My head is talking me out of it. Who is not going to cover?

Other teams and conferences have figured out the bracket busters are not in their best interests, Elgin is a very slow learner.

no doubt, I don't think a "you still live in Southern California" sign will really do much, lol.

Seriously though, will be rooting for the bluejays.
